The AUGSBURG AIRSHOW 2008, which is scheduled for the 26th and 27th of July at the airport Augsburg-Mühlhausen, is the first international Air Show in the South of Bavaria for more than 10 years. We shall be offering an extensive flight program similar to that of the Air Show 2007 in Hof with some unique attractions.
World-renowned historic aircraft of the Messerschmitt Foundation will be taking part in the Augsburg Airshow. Flight demonstrations (short film hier) by the following unique aircraft can be seen:
- M 17
- Me 108
- Me 109 (only static display)
- Me 163
- Me 262 (only flying display)

The firm Eurocopter will be participating with an information stand and a helicopter Bo 105 on view in the spectator area and will also give a flight demonstration with the EC 135.

The Kunstflugteam Franken with synchronous glider aerobatics using 3 Lo 100
Robert Sixt will present a spectacular demonstration of the flight characteristics of his model helicopter "siXtreme"
The ballooners from Ballonservice Pfahlheim will take part with their two balloons.

We have arranged to have a Space Walk and an Aeroplane Roundabout to entertain your children.
The Sgt Wilson´s Army Show will provide musical entertainment including music by Glenn Miller and the Andrew Sisters.
The Augsburg Oldtimer Club will present a spectacular display of their most attractive historic vehicles. Pictures are to be found under here.

Free parking at the airport area!
The flight programme will take place between 11.00 am - 5.00 pm (Sa/So). The area will be open from 10.00 pm. For organisational reasons it is not possible to issue passes for re-entry to the airport grounds.
Owners of vintage or otherwise rare aircraft are invited to apply to take part in the static display. Where appropriate, we are prepared to cover the fuel cost and to provide a flight line ticket. Please send your applications to menzel@abacus-airshow.de.
